![]() EXPERIENCE1 Excellent appointments and well ordered on time delivery. The building of the tub was a nice job, with good pointers and reassuring service telephone calls. Using the bath is a real experience, certainly after a hard day work in our french garden. It began of course by running over the lawn naked in the dark, with an umbrella (No, sorry, I haven’t got any photos) and our bath slippers which disappeared in the mud, and then the cold raindrops that fell into the tub and on us, making a beautiful sound. The two of us also saw the New Year in while in the tub – we had the radio with us to hear Big Ben (yes, it was an hour late, but at midnight our time the water wasn’t hot enough... that’s what happens when you spend more time making the nibbles than stoking up the stove) and a bottle of champers of course. On my birthday we ate sushi with all the trimmings in the tub. So you can see that we are having a lot of fun. We think of you regularly! After building a super rigid vlonder on concrete tiles we started with the floor, the lid, the positioning the benches, the plug and finaly the bath. All the staves fitted and the tapping in place could begin. We made a lot of photos during the build and of the final result. The 1.6 cbm water heated between the 3 and 5 degrees celsius a day, so we didnt use the stove yet. Thats why we shortend the pipe to have a even better view. The weather was ideal to bath. The neighbours in the village enjoyed how we, the dutch, were building a bath to the shape of Bergera's wine barrel. P. and M. from France |
